Remember those yummy orange Creamsicles we all loved as kids? This creamy smoothie captures the creamy orange and vanilla essence of those beloved popsicles in a healthy morning smoothie. For a more frosty or light smoothie, substitute one cup of ice (5 cubes) for the second cup of frozen mango.
This recipe appears in the cookbook, "Cooking with Trader Joe's: Dinner's Done!"
Vegetarian
Gluten Free
Low Fat
Ingredients
- 1 cup Vanilla Nonfat Yogurt
- 1 cup orange juice
- 2 cups frozen Mango Chunks (or use 1 cup frozen Mango Chunks + 1 cup ice)
- 1 tsp vanilla
Instructions
- 1. Add all ingredients to blender and blend until smooth.
- 2. Pour into glasses and garnish with an orange slice.
Additional Notes
Note: Vanilla Nonfat Yogurt is a sweetened yogurt. If you prefer to use plain yogurt, add agave nectar or sugar for a sweeter taste.

omg, i love this drink. which is odd given that i'm not a huge fan of mangos, but if you're like me, trust me, you can barely taste the mangos and this drink is JUST LIKE the ones you might get at the Orange Julius in the mall...except WAY better! i use the plain yogurt and put in a tad of sugar, although given the sugar in the OJ, i might start opting out of the sugar altogether... great smoothie! delicious! perfect poolside drink on a hot day, after dinner dessert, or just something to sip on while reading/watching TV!
